The group’s core packaging facilities are at Gold Crown Foods Ltd, Liverpool, UK and Gold Crown Beverages (Kenya) Ltd, Mombasa, Kenya.So be it tea bags or loose-leaf tea, cartons or tins, bone china or exquisitely hand made wooden boxes, the group can pack them all.

The Gold Crown factory at Liverpool is the most modern purpose built tea packing facility in the UK set up in 1998 spreading over more than 130,000 square feet. Continuously updated, the factory has added a new coffee line in 2003 and a speciality tea-packaging unit in 2004. Not only does it pack for some of Europe’s largest supermarkets and exclusive Departmental Stores, Gold Crown also offers a range of branded products both for domestic and export markets.

The Gold Crown Beverages factory in Mombasa was set up in 2002 and is the first tea-packing factory in Africa to achieve HACCP certification as well as BRC higher beverages level accreditation.Together the capacity of both these factories will exceed 20 million kilos of packed tea and coffee every year.
